| 1 | Existing Customers | If an existing landline customer wants to avail a Virtual Landline, then he has to close the existing connection and apply for a new connection with a request for either Nishtha-1 Plan or Nishtha-2 Plan. |
| 2 | DNP Customers for 3 months or more | Such customers need to clear the outstanding dues first. Then the closure order will be issued to close the old connection. Further, the customer needs to apply afresh for a new connection under either Nishtha-1 Plan or Nishtha-2 Plan. |
| 3 | Voluntary Closure Customers | A customer who wants to voluntarily close the existing landline connection can opt for Nishtha Plan. The old connection will be closed and the customer needs to apply afresh for a new connection under either Nishtha-1 Plan or Nishtha-2 Plan. |
| 4 | Faulty Line | If the landline is in faulty condition for more than 15 days, such customers can opt for either Nishtha-1 Plan or Nishtha-2 Plan as an accessory to their existing plan. Such customer need not surrender their existing landline. |

Voice over Fiber Network (FTTH) :
- Landline tariff plans with Rs.500 and above will be allowed for New Booking or Migration* over FTTH for Voice Facility irrespective of technical feasibility* of copper in that area.
- Additionally, a customer will also get High-Speed Broadband on Fiber(FTTH) offering Download Speed up to 50 Mbps till 10 GB data (FUP) per month and unlimited usage at 256 Kbps afterward. Upload speed will be 10 Mbps and 256 Kbps after FUP.

Annual Payment Option:
Following discounts are offered under the annual payment option.

- The annual Payment Option is available under full advance payment of the respective plan.
- Customers availing facility of discounted rent for 3 months (cashback) are not eligible for the Annual Payment Option.
- Customers will continue to get monthly bills for the usage charges, which are required to be paid regularly. Non-payment would attract disconnection of service in a normal course.

Please Note :
- For All Landline to Mobile calls: Landline users are required to add the prefix '0' before dialing a mobile number (any Operator). There is no change in the way Landline to Landline, Mobile to Landline, and Mobile to Mobile calls are dialed.
- Additional facility NOT applicable to ISDN, PRA, BRA, and all types of PCO's, IN Services, and Special Customised Plans.
- Annual fixed charges of these plans will also be revised accordingly by charging 11 months of monthly fixed charge.
- Additional facility mentioned above is applicable to All Broadband combo plans and all other landline plans.
- Equipment like Telephone Instrument, Broadband Modems /CPEs (Customer Premises Equipment), ONU(Optical Network Units), NT1(for ISDN lines), if provided at Customers' premises by MTNL, are the sole property of MTNL, Mumbai.
- In the Plan-199 only incoming plan, the outgoing facility is allowed with a VCC card. The broadband facility is also permitted.
- A rebate of Rs.250 each will be given for the customer-owned telephone instrument and the customer's own internal wiring.
- In case of surrender of the telephone without MTNL provided instrument within 3 years, Rs.150 will be recovered from Security Deposit.
- Shifting charges: Rs.300 for same or interexchange (no charges for within same premises).
- Concessions for Special Categories such as Senior Citizens (only applicable to Economy Plan)
