2.How can I get or find this application on my phone?

Checking under Applications you will see MatruBhasha application icon this means you have it in your phone and you can use it by clicking on it.

If you don't find it here,

a.Go to http://203.90.117.103/Modfiles/MTNL/MB.html and you can download it by clicking on Matrubhasha

3.How can I start the application?

This can be done by clicking on the icon

4.I have uninstalled it what now?

5.I want to choose language other than listed in the application but it's not there.

Application will have more languages in later releases; right now MatruBhasha supports Hindi, Guajarati, Marathi and English

6.How to click on a selection?

Depending upon the phone model, different keys are mapped for selection and clicking, usually LeftSideKey and RightSideKey have text written on it for selection and clicking. Phones with centre button are usually associated with clicking actions.

7.How to Change language

From any screen you can press “*” to change the language.

8.MatruBhasha services menu shows different services sometimes.

The services list will keep changing according to the latest service launched.

9.How to subscribe to MatruBhasha?

After clicking the installed application's icon, wait for the menu to appear on the screen. You will   receive a menu like:->

• Cricket
• News
• Jokes
• Ganesh
• Panchang

To subscribe to Cricket you will need to highlight Cricket and press select. This will display a message with charging options, once confirming, the charge will be deducted and the user will be notified for the same. On success, user will start receiving alerts on daily basis. Details given below

10.How much would I be charged?

The subscription charges depend on the services which you want to opt for. The base for subscription services is Rs.5/5days and Rs.30/ 30 days.

11.How to move to the next page in the menu?

If “More” option is provided at the end of the menu, a customer would be able to move to the next page. User can simply select the “More” option present in the particular language chosen by the user to move to the next page.

12.If I am roaming will I get the alerts? Will there be any extra charges?

When a subscriber is in roaming he/she will get the alerts at no extra cost but should be in the coverage area or the cell should not be switched off.

13.Can I subscribe to any service while roaming?

At the time of roaming one can subscribe to any of the service at no extra cost.

14.How to De-activate the service?

To Unsubscribe send UNSUB say, UNSUB Cricket to 58081.

15.I do not receive alerts?

If you do not receive the alerts that mean

• You have not subscribed for the service.
• You might be out of coverage area or mobile was switched off.
• You will not receive the same alerts when you return back to the coverage area or switches on the handset.

16.Not subscribed for alerts but I receive the alerts?

If you are receiving the alerts, that’s means you are active for the service.

17.What will happen if there is no balance in the prepaid account?

When there is low balance in your prepaid account, your services would not get activated.

18.If I activate and immediately deactivate the service, how much would I be charged?

When you subscribe for a service you are charged, so if you deactivate the service the account will not be credited by that amount. If again you subscribe for the same service, your account balance will again be debited.

19.How would I be notified that the service is already activated?

If a subscriber is activated for Astrology service and tries to activate again, the subscriber will be notified in the language chosen that he is already activated for the service.

20.How would customers know about any new service launch?

• Newly launched services will be available on the top of the menu list.
• Also promotions are done on the large scale
