We expect you to use email ID's of MTNL which is given free of cost along with your account. If you wish to use email ID's of VSNL or any other ISP's ,you may do it by using the webmail facility of the concerned ISP.
Other ISP's have restricted the use of their email ID's from being accessed by MTNL network with MTNL SMTP through Outlook Express , etc. The matter has been taken up with TRAI by MTNL.
In case the customer still intends to use the above facility through Outlook Express , then MTNL can facilitate by providing fixed IP for this purpose.The charge for first fixed IP is Rs.1000 per annum and Rs.1000 for each additional fixed IP.
