MTNL's GARUDA Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) / Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) service is based on CDMA Technology.

In  FWT, a small box is fitted with the antenna at the subscriber premises and a normal telephone instrument is connected to the box. FWP is a composite device where single telephone instrument is provided to the customer. There is no wire connection.
